My name is Crissi Langwell, and I’ve been an author since 2013 when I published my first novel (and a writer since many years before that). I now have 15 published books and counting, with genres that include romance, women’s fiction, young adult, and more. My favorite books to write (and read!) are love stories with heart. I am the president of Redwood Writers, and on the board of the California Writers Club. I was also editor-in-chief of our 2020 anthology, Sunset Sunrise: A Collection of Endings & Beginnings and 2021 anthology, Remember When. Along with writing, I am the Communications Director for Oakmont Village Association. Before that, I worked in marketing at a local real estate company, and for many years in the newsroom at Northern California newspaper, the Press Democrat, in the online department, and was part of the team that won a Pulitzer Prize in 2018 for our coverage of the local fire disaster.

I have been helping authors prepare their books for publishing for several years now, and take great joy in my work. To me, polishing a book through editing or formatting is like putting together a puzzle. And having been an author for over ten years, I celebrate the dedication and pride each author has in their book.
